Kevin Castro Killed, Renu Pradeep Vaidya Injured in Car Accident in Dallas, TX

Dallas, TX — May 30, 2023, Kevin Castro was killed and Renu Pradeep Vaidya was injured due to a car accident at around 10:16 p.m. along Montfort Drive.

Investigators said that the incident took place in the area of the Montfort Drive and Alpha Road intersection.

According to officials, 21-year-old Kevin Castro was in a Chevy Malibu that was reportedly going southbound on Montfort. While crossing the Alpha Road intersection, the Malibu collided with a westbound BMW that was driven by 67-year-old Renu Vaidya.

Due to the collision, Castro sustained injuries that proved to be fatal. A passenger in the Malibu may have been injured. Vaidya was said to have non-incapacitating injuries. Currently, additional details about the accident are unavailable.
