Roderick Jones Injured in Truck Accident in Fort Bend County, TX

Fort Bend County, TX — July 18, 2023, Roderick Jones was injured following a commercial truck accident at around 2:48 p.m. along F.M. 762.

According to preliminary details released about the crash, the incident happened in the area of the F.M. 762 and Brazos Lakes Drive intersection.

Investigators said that 47-year-old Roderick Jones was in a Chevy Traverse that was going northbound along Farm-to-Market 762. Approaching a curve in the road, authorities say that an oncoming 18-wheeler went across the center line, causing it to collide with Jones's vehicle. This sent Jones's vehicle off the side of the road.

As a result of the crash, Jones had injuries which were said to be incapacitating. There were no other injuries confirmed following the incident. It's unclear if authorities filed any charges or citations following the wreck.
