Initial details about the accident say that 80-year-old Jerry Rodgers and 85-year-old Marcy Rodgers were in a Jeep Wrangler that was going westbound along the highway. While doing so, it appears an eastbound pickup failed to yield making a left turn, and the vehicles collided. Those vehicles then hit a Ford F-650 that was waiting at the yield sign merging onto the highway.

As a result of the collision, both Jerry and Marcy Rodgers had injuries described as incapacitating. The drivers of the pickup and the Ford truck both had reportedly non-incapacitating injuries. Currently, there are no additional details available.
