Whitney Strong Killed in Semi-Truck Accident in Berkeley County, SC

Berkeley County, SC — August 8, 2023, Whitney Strong was killed in a semi-truck collision on Highway 17 in Moncks Corner, Berkeley County, SC.

Authorities indicate that on August 8, a fatal crash occurred when, for unknown reasons, a Dodge and two semi-trucks collided in Berkeley County. According to reports, the crash happened shortly after 7:00 in the morning.

Investigators say the Dodge was traveling north along Highway 17 when it suddenly collided with a southbound semi-truck. The collision then caused another semi-truck to get hit.

Officials confirmed the Dodge driver, 32-year-old Whitney Strong, suffered fatal injuries in the crash. One semi-driver was also hurt in the accident and was transported to an area hospital for medical attention. No other injuries were reported. No further information has been released.

The investigation is ongoing.
