George “Sonny” Harris III Killed in Truck Accident in James City County, VA

James City County, VA — August 9, 2023, George "Sonny" Harris III was killed in a truck accident in the 9200 block of Daydreamer Court in James City County, VA.

Authorities say that on August 9, a fatal accident occurred when a man collided with a Ford pickup in James City County. According to reports, the victim was performing a work-related operation behind the pickup. Sources say as the truck moved ahead, the victim became ensnared. The accident happened shortly before 11:30 in the morning.

Officials confirmed that George "Sonny" Harris III, 68, suffered fatal injuries in the accident. No other injuries were reported.

The accident is still under investigation.
