Teen Injured in Hit-and-run Accident at Tequila’s Night Club in Abilene, TX

Abilene, TX — August 5, 2023, a teenager was injured as the result of a hit-and-run accident late Saturday outside Tequila's Night Club.

Preliminary investigations show that the incident happened outside Tequila's Night Club, which is located at 133 Eplens Court off the corner of South 1st and Leggett Drive.

Right now, details about the incident remain limited. Authorities said only that an 18-year-old woman local to Abilene was in front of the club on foot at the time. In a series of events unclear, it appears that an SUV struck the teenager. That vehicle then left the scene of the accident.

As a result of the collision, the teen girl was taken from the scene with injuries that reportedly included a concussion. No other injuries were reported. Abilene Police say the SUV involved was possibly a Ford Escape that would have damage to its front end. No further information is available at this time.
