Timothy Lee Stangel Killed in Truck Accident in Minneapolis, MN

Minneapolis, MN — August 4, 2023, Timothy Lee Stangel was killed following a semi-truck accident at around 11:30 a.m. along St. Anthony Parkway.

Investigators said that the incident happened in the area of the intersection of St. Anthony Parkway and California Avenue NE.

Details at this time time show that 59-year-old Timothy Lee Stangel was on a bicycle that was traveling in the area. The bicycle was reportedly going downhill at the time approaching a semi-truck which had just turned onto the roadway. Stangel's bicycle then crashed into the semi-truck.

As a result of the collision, Stangel sustained fatal injuries. There were no other confirmed injuries. Right now, circumstances surrounding the collision remain under investigation. There are no further details available pending the investigations.
