Jean Marie Godard, Chantal Bouvet Godard Killed in Motorcycle Accident in Crook County, WY

Crook County, WY — July 31, 2023, Jean Marie Godard and Chantal Bouvet Godard were killed in a motorcycle crash on Route 14, north of Moorcroft in Crook County, WY.

Authorities indicate that on July 31, an accident occurred when, for unknown reasons, a motorcycle and a motorhome collided on U.S. Route 14 in Crook County. According to reports, the crash happened when the motorhome attempted a U-turn to head west on Route 14. Sources say the motorhome pulled out and struck an oncoming motorcycle shortly after 12:30 in the afternoon.

Officials confirmed two people on the motorcycle, 69-year-old Jean Marie Godard and 75-year-old Chantal Bouvet Godard, suffered fatal injuries in the collision.

The motorhome driver and passenger were not hurt in the accident.
