Saad Mohammed Killed in Scooter/Bus Accident in Jamaica, Queens, NY

Queens, NY — August 8, 2023, Saad Mohammed was killed in a collision involving a scooter and a bus on 89th Avenue in Jamaica, Queens, NY.

Authorities indicate that on August 8, a fatal accident occurred when, for unknown reasons, a scooter and a bus collided in Jamaica, Queens. According to reports, the bus was traveling northbound on 168th Avenue when the scooter drove into the bus's path at 89th Avenue.

Investigators have not determined the cause of the accident but confirmed the 18-year-old scooter-rider, Saad Mohammed, suffered fatal injuries in the collision. No other injuries were reported.

Authorities are continuing to investigate the cause of the crash.
