Four Injured in Truck Accident on I-69 in Montgomery County, TX

Montgomery County, TX — August 8, 2023, four people were injured as the result of a truck accident at around 7:00 a.m. along Interstate 69.

Authorities said that the incident happened along the northbound lanes of the interstate where it crosses Highway 242.

According to officials, a truck with a ladder rack was going along the roadway when it somehow lost control. This led to the truck hitting the wall along the shoulder before then bouncing back into the roadway where it collided with a Honda Pilot.

As a result of the collision, a 7-year-old that was riding in the Honda sustained injuries which were described as critical. Another child and two of the drivers had less severe injuries, according to reports. Right now, there are no additional details regarding the events surrounding the accident.
