Pedestrian Killed in Semi-Truck Accident in Lakeland, FL

Lakeland, FL — August 8, 2023, a pedestrian was killed in a semi-truck accident on North Lake Parker Avenue near East Rose Street in Lakeland, FL.

Authorities indicate that on August 8, a fatal accident occurred when a pedestrian was struck by a semi-truck in the 200 block of North Lake Parker Avenue in Lakeland. Sources say the accident happened before 5:00 p.m.

Investigators say the pedestrian was struck as the semi-truck attempted to turn onto East Rose Street. Officials confirmed the pedestrian, a 36-year-old woman whose name has not been released, suffered fatal injuries in the accident. No other injuries were reported.

Authorities are continuing to investigate the accident.
