Nelly Sanchez Flores, 2 Injured in Car Accident in Houston, TX

Houston, TX — July 12, 2023, Nelly Sanchez Flores and two children were injured due to an alleged intoxicated driving accident on West Loop 610.

According to information released by authorities, the incident took place in the area of the West Loop 610 and Katy Freeway interchange.

Preliminary investigations indicated that 28-year-old Nelly Sanchez Flores was the driver of a Honda Civic traveling northbound along West Loop 610. A Nissan Titan traveling the same direction reportedly did not slow down in time and crashed into the back of the Honda.

As a result of the collision, Sanchez Flores and two children riding in the Honda had injuries which were said to be incapacitating. It's unclear if the Nissan driver had injuries. At this time, details suggest that the Nissan driver had been intoxicated at the time of the accident, for which there appear to be pending charges for intoxication assault. No further information can be confirmed at this time.
