James Steven Cooper Killed in Car Accident in Wise County, TX

Wise County, TX — July 8, 2023, James Steven Cooper was killed due to a single-vehicle car accident at around 12:22 a.m. along U.S. Highway 81.

Authorities said that the incident happened in the area of the U.S. Highway 81 and Farm-to-Market 407 intersection.

According to currently available information, 45-year-old James Steven Cooper was said to be the driver of a Mercedes-Benz that was going northbound along the highway. For reasons which can't be confirmed at this time, the vehicle drifted off the right side of the road, skidding before then overturning.

As a result of the rollover crash, Cooper sustained injuries which proved to be fatal. There were no other reported victims involved in the accident. At this time, the cause of the accident remains unconfirmed pending further investigations.
