Rutherford County, TN — August 6, 2023, Hytika Johnson was killed in a semi-truck crash on Interstate 840 near mile marker 50 in Rutherford County, TN.

Authorities indicate that on August 6, a collision occurred between a Nissan and a semi-truck for unknown reasons. According to reports, the accident happened shortly after 10:00 at night. Sources say the Nissan was traveling westbound on Interstate 840 when it suddenly crossed over into the shoulder and rear-ended a semi-truck.

Officials confirmed that 29-year-old Hytika Johnson was killed in the crash. No other injuries were reported. No further information is currently available.
