Collen Kuderewski Killed in Tractor-Trailer Accident in Kingsport, TN

Kingsport, TN — August 7, 2023, Collen Kuderewski was killed due to a tractor-trailer accident early Monday along Interstate 81.

Authorities said in their statements that the crash took place in the area of I-81 mile marker 64 along northbound lanes of travel.

According to current reports, 59-year-old Collen Kuderewski was driving a Honda Civic along the interstate when, for reasons unclear, the Honda apparently stopped along the right side of the interstate. While there, it appears a tractor-trailer crashed into Kuderewski's vehicle. The collision was said to have happened in the lane of travel.

As a result of the collision, Kuderewski sustained fatal injuries. There were no reports of others being injured. At this time, no further information about the crash can be confirmed pending investigations.
