Pedestrian Killed in Semi-Truck Accident on Auburn Boulevard in Sacramento, CA

Sacramento, CA — August 7, 2023, a pedestrian was killed in an accident involving a semi-truck on Auburn Blvd., south of Myrtle Avenue in Sacramento, CA.

Authorities say that on August 7, a fatal accident occurred when, for unknown reasons, a pedestrian was struck by a semi-truck on Auburn Blvd. According to reports, a man was walking along Auburn Blvd. when he was hit by a semi-truck attempting to turn right.

Investigators have yet to determine what caused the accident. Officials confirmed that the pedestrian, a 60-year-old male whose name has not been released, suffered severe injuries and was transported to an area hospital. The man died due to his injuries.

The investigation into the accident is ongoing.
