Wayne Franklin Pipes Killed in Truck Accident on Road 222 in Oakhurst, CA

Oakhurst, CA — August 6, 2023, Wayne Franklin Pipes was killed in a truck collision on Road 222 in Oakhurst, CA.

Authorities say that on August 6, a crash occurred when, for unknown reasons, a westbound propane truck left the roadway and overturned on Road 222 in Oakhurst.

Investigators have yet to determine the cause of the accident but confirmed the truck driver, 52-year-old Wayne Franklin Pipes, suffered fatal injuries. No other vehicles were involved, and no other injuries were reported.

The investigation is ongoing. No additional information has been released at this time.
