Eric Rye Killed in Hit-and-run Accident in Houston, TX

Houston, TX — July 30, 2023, Eric Rye was fatally injured in an apparent hit-and-run accident just after midnight along Fountain View Drive.

Houston authorities released initial details about the accident as their investigations continue. It appears the incident happened off the corner of Fountain View Drive and Inwood Drive.

Evidence points to the possibility that Rye was hit by a vehicle. A resident found Rye unresponsive outside their home and called for help.
