Cinnamon J. Gilch Killed in Truck Accident in Richland Township, PA

Allegheny County, PA — August 4, 2023, Cinnamon Gilch was killed as the result of a truck accident at around 1:30 p.m. along Route 8.

Investigators with numerous departments were called to the area of the crash between the intersections of Kenneth Drive and Vista Vue Drive, reports say.

It appears that 53-year-old Cinnamon Gilch was in a vehicle that was going northbound along Route 8. From southbound lanes, authorities say that a dump truck somehow crashed into two vehicles "in traffic." The truck then crossed left of center, hitting Gilch's and another northbound vehicle.

As a result of the collision, Gilch ultimately succumbed to fatal injuries. Reports at this time are not clear on if others involved in the crash had injuries. It's also unclear at this time whether or not charges are being considered. Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
