Terrie Cox Killed in Fire Truck Accident in Louisville, KY

Louisville, KY — August 5, 2023, Terris Cox was killed in a collision involving a fire truck on Clifty Hollow Road in Louisville, KY.

Authorities say that on August 5, a collision occurred when, for unknown reasons, a vehicle and a fire truck crashed on Clifty Hollow Road in Louisville. According to reports, the accident happened shortly after 8:30 in the morning.

Investigators say the fire truck was traveling in the opposite direction in the westbound lanes on Clifty Hollow Road and entered an oncoming vehicle's path. The fire truck and vehicle reportedly collided head-on, killing one person. Officials confirmed the vehicle driver, 44-year-old Terrie Cox, suffered fatal injuries in the crash.

No other injuries were reported. No additional details about the crash have been released at this time.

The investigation is ongoing.
