David A. Sharrock Killed in Tractor-Trailer Accident in Columbia, MO

Columbia, MO — August 5, 2023, David A. Sharrock was killed in a collision involving a tractor-trailer on Interstate 70 in Columbia, MO.

Authorities indicate that on August 5, a fatal accident occurred when a tractor-trailer struck a pedestrian on Interstate 70 in Columbia. According to reports, the accident happened sometime before 5:00 p.m.

Investigators say the pedestrian was struck by the oncoming tractor-trailer while attempting to cross the interstate. Officials confirmed the pedestrian, David A. Sharrock, 43, suffered severe injuries and was taken to an area hospital. Sharrock died due to his injuries.

No other injuries were reported. No further information has been released.
