One Killed in Truck Accident on Interstate 64 in Cabell County, WV

Cabell County, WV — August 3, 2023, a person was killed in a collision involving a box truck on Interstate 64 in Cabell County.

Authorities say that on August 3, a crash occurred when, for unknown reasons, a box truck rear-ended a semi-truck on eastbound Interstate 64 in Cabell County. According to reports, the accident happened sometime after 1:30 in the morning.

Investigators say the semi-truck was parked along the side of the highway when the collision happened. Officials confirmed that one person was killed in the accident. The name of the deceased has not been released at this time. No further information is available.
