Moncy Varughese Injured in Car Accident in Lewisville, TX

Lewisville, TX — July 23, 2023, Moncy Varughese was injured due to a car accident at around 4:41 a.m. along Interstate 35E.

Authorities said that they were called out to the southbound lanes of the interstate near Garden Ridge Boulevard for an unspecified emergency. A police car was across the two inside lanes of travel with flashing lights, according to officials. While there, it appears a Nissan Maxima reportedly driven by 54-year-old Moncy Varughese crashed into the officer's vehicle.

As a result of the collision, Varughese had apparently incapacitating injuries. It does not appear that anyone else was hurt due to the collision. Additional details from authorities cannot be confirmed at this time pending more thorough investigations.
