Jesus Acosta Injured in Truck Accident in Pecos County, TX

Pecos County, TX — July 24, 2023, Jesus Acosta was injured as the result of a commercial truck accident at around 12:20 p.m. along U.S. Highway 285.

Officials said that the incident happened in the areas of U.S. 285 mile marker 446 along southbound lanes of the highway.

Preliminary information seems to identify 21-year-old Jesus Acosta as the driver of a Ford Taurus that was going along U.S. 285. Authorities suggested the Ford was passing another vehicle when it crossed paths and collided with a southbound 18-wheeler.

As a result of the collision, Acosta sustained injuries which were described as incapacitating. There were no other confirmed injuries resulting from the crash. At this time, details from authorities cannot be confirmed without further investigations.
