One Killed, One Injured in Semi-Truck Accident in St. Claire Township, MI

St. Claire Township, MI — August 2, 2023, a person was killed, and one was injured in a semi-truck crash on Range Road in St. Claire Township, MI.

Authorities say that on August 2, a crash occurred when, for unknown reasons, a vehicle driving north on Range Road suddenly crossed the center lane line into traffic traveling in the opposite direction. Sources say the vehicle went into the path of an oncoming semi-truck, and the two vehicles collided. The accident reportedly happened shortly after noon in St. Claire Township.

Officials confirmed the 29-year-old vehicle driver, whose name has not been released, suffered fatal injuries in the crash. The semi-driver was reportedly hurt in the crash, but the injuries were minor.

No other injuries were reported. The investigation is ongoing.
