Armador Juarez Jr. Killed in Car Accident on Castroville Road in San Antonio, TX

UPDATE (August 7, 2023): Bexar County officials identified the man killed in the accident as Armador Juarez Jr. Right now, they have not provided any additional details about the crash.

San Antonio, TX — August 3, 2023, a bicyclist was killed as the result of a car accident that happened at around 9:30 p.m. along Castroville Road.

Authorities said that the incident happened in the area of Castroville Road and South General McMullen Drive.

Preliminary statements said that the victim was a man riding a bicycle along Castroville. While doing so, a woman in a pickup somehow hit the cyclist with her side mirror. This caused the cyclist to fall in the roadway. There, another vehicle hit the man, dragging him for some distance until the vehicle got to a gas station.

The victim was killed as a result of the accident. Police say they arrested the second driver for allegedly failing a sobriety test. Right now, there are no specified charges, and the incident remains under investigation.
