One Killed in Semi-Truck Rollover Accident on Highway 361 in Gabbs, NV

Nye County, NV — August 3, 2023, one person was fatally injured following a semi-truck rollover accident at around 3:30 p.m. on Highway 361.

Authorities said in preliminary statements that the crash took place along Highway 361 and delayed traffic for hours as a result.

Currently, there are few details surrounding the crash itself. Statements from authorities as well as images provided by the Nye County Sheriff's Department show that a commercial truck somehow overturned down an embankment along the side of the highway.

As a result of this crash, reports say one person was killed. Reports did not identify the victim nor did they say how that person was involved in the accident. Factors surrounding the crash are still under investigation at this time.
