Dallin Harris Killed in Tractor-Trailer Accident in Logan, UT

UPDATE (August 7, 2023): Additional details released by authorities identified the man killed in the crash as 37-year-old Dallin Harris. According to new information released, the crash occurred near 1050 W. 200 North. The circumstances leading up to the crash are still under investigation.

Logan, UT — August 1, 2023, a person was killed in a tractor-trailer accident between Highway 252 and Highway 30 in Logan, UT.

Authorities indicate that on August 1, an accident occurred when, for unknown reasons, a vehicle and a tractor-trailer collided in Logan. According to reports, the car was traveling west when it suddenly went left and struck the truck's trailer. The exact location of the accident is still being determined. Sources say the crash happened west of an intersection between Highways 252 and 30.

Officials confirmed the vehicle driver, who has yet to be identified, was pulled from the vehicle and taken to an area hospital for medical treatment. The driver succumbed to his injuries and died at the hospital.

No other injuries were reported. Authorities are continuing to investigate the crash.
