One Injured in Dump Truck Accident on Highway 411 in Blount County, TN

Blount County, TN — August 3, 2023, a person was injured in a collision involving a dump truck on Highway 411 in Blount County, TN.

Authorities indicate that on August 3, a collision occurred when a dump truck crashed into a store off Highway 411 in Blount County. According to reports, the dump truck was traveling southbound on Highway 411 when it suddenly left the roadway and crashed into the rear of the store building. Authorities say the truck also struck two parked vehicles behind the store.

Investigators have not determined the cause of the accident but confirmed that the tractor-trailer driver, whose name has not been released, suffered injuries in the crash. The extent of the driver's injuries is unknown. No other injuries were reported.
