Phillip Brock Murray Killed in Motorcycle Accident in Sherman, TX

Sherman, TX — April 24, 2023, Phillip Brock Murray was killed as the result of a motorcycle accident at around 9:38 p.m. along U.S. Highway 82.

Preliminary information about the accident says that it happened in the area of U.S. Highway 82 and Naylor Road.

According to officials, 45-year-old Phillip Brock Murray was on a Harley-Davidson motorcycle that was going along westbound lanes of the highway. Just past Naylor, authorities say that there had been an accident that left a GMC Sonoma disabled across both lanes of travel. There was reportedly an ambulance on the scene. Somehow, Murray's motorcycle went past the ambulance, and authorities believe Murray laid the bike down to avoid hitting the disabled vehicle. Unfortunately, Murray and the bike collided into the GMC.

As a result of the collision, Murray succumbed to fatal injuries. There were no other reported injuries in connection with the accident. At this time, additional details from authorities cannot be confirmed without further investigations.
