Jennifer Landers Killed in Tow Truck Accident on State Route 330 in Highland, CA

UPDATE (August 4, 2023): In a press release, San Bernardino County Sheriff's officials identified the woman killed in the accident as Valencia resident 44-year-old Jennifer Landers. Right now, additional details about the crash cannot be confirmed.

Highland, CA — July 22, 2023, one person was fatally injured as the result of a truck accident at around 8:13 a.m. along State Route 330.

According to initial details provided by Arrowhead-area California Highway Patrol troopers, the crash happened in the area of State Route 330 mile marker 31, just outside San Bernardino.

Right now, exact circumstances are still under investigation. Authorities said that a driver was in a Mazda that was going northbound along the highway. While doing so, a Ford tow truck was going southbound. Details say the tow truck, for reasons unclear, crossed left of center and went into the northbound lanes. There, the truck and the Mazda collided head-on.

As a result of the collision, the driver in the Mazda sustained fatal injuries. It's not clear if anyone else was injured. Authorities did not publicly identify the driver killed in the accident. Right now, no additional details about the accident are available.
