One Killed, One Injured in Dump Truck Accident on Piccadilly St. in Aurora, CO

Aurora, CO — July 18, 2023, one person was killed, and another was injured in a three-vehicle collision around 7:30 a.m. at East 11th Avenue and Piccadilly Street in Aurora.

According to sources, a Ford F-150 was traveling east on East 11th Ave. and attempted a turn onto Piccadilly St. when it allegedly collided with a southbound dump truck. The collision reportedly caused the dump truck to veer into the northbound lanes and collide with a third vehicle.

The driver in the third vehicle, traveling north on Piccadilly St. reportedly sustained fatal injuries in the crash. The dump truck driver purportedly suffered minor injuries, and there are no reports regarding the F-150 driver.

Authorities have not released any other details at this time.
