Javier Garza Killed, Jacqueline Cabralez, Teresa Dolores Cabralez, 2 Children Injured in Car Accident in Uvalde County, TX

Uvalde County, TX — June 28, 2023, Javier Garza was killed, and Jacqueline Cabralez, Teresa Cabralez, and 2 children were injured in a car accident around 10:58 p.m. on U.S. Hwy. 83 in Uvalde County.

Sources report Mr. Garza's Chevy Silverado was traveling north on U.S. Hwy. 83 when it, for some unreported reason, spun out of control into the southbound lane and collided with a southbound Ford Bronco Sport. The front driver's side corner of the Bronco Sport purportedly struck the front passenger side panel of the Silverado.

Officials say Mr. Garza was fatally injured. Jacqueline Cabralez, Teresa Cabralez, and two children from the Bronco had reportedly incapacitating injuries.

Investigators have not released what factors led up to the accident.
