Jonathan Patton Killed in Car Accident on Preston Road in Plano, TX

UPDATE (August 8, 2023): Recent information released about the fatal accident identified the man killed in the incident as Jonathan Patton. Right now, no additional details can be confirmed.

Plano, TX — July 13, 2023, one person was fatally injured as the result of a rear-end car accident that happened at around 10:45 p.m. on Preston Road.

Preliminary details about the fatal car accident say that it happened just north of the Preston Road and Parker Road intersection at Charles Place.

According to initial statements, an Infiniti Q50 was traveling southbound along Preston Road. Somehow, that vehicle crashed with the rear end of a Toyota Rav4. After this, the Infiniti then veered off-road where it crashed into a tree. The vehicle then caught fire.

As a result of the crash, the driver of the Infiniti sustained fatal injuries. The other driver did not appear to be injured. Right now, the exact circumstances surrounding the crash remain unclear.
