Pete Senteno Killed in Bicycle Accident in Edinburg, TX

Edinburg, TX — July 7, 2023, Pete Senteno was fatally injured as the result of a car accident that happened at around 11:00 p.m. on East University Drive.

Preliminary information about the accident was released by Edinburg Police officials, which says that the crash took place along the 1000 block of East University Drive, just off the corner of North 20th Avenue.

Investigators said that 49-year-old local Pete Senteno was on a bicycle that was going along East University Drive. Due to events which are not entirely clear at this time, a vehicle struck Senteno. As a result, Senteno sustained injuries that ultimately proved to be fatal. There were no other reported injuries.

Details about the driver involved are unclear at this time. There have been no confirmed charges or citations at this time.
