Clinton Bison Killed in Rollover Accident in Harrison County, TX

Harrison County, TX — June 2, 2023, Clinton Bison was fatally injured as the result of a rollover car accident at 8:15 p.m. along County Road 2618.

Preliminary details about the fatal crash indicate that it took place on State Line Road a few miles north of Waskom.

According to investigators, 38-year-old Clinton T. Bison of Shreveport was in a vehicle that was going southbound along C.R. 2618. For reasons which have not yet been confirmed, the vehicle left its lane. The vehicle continued out of control off-road where it crashed with a tree and a fence before then overturning.

As a result of the rollover accident, Bison sustained injuries that were serious. It appears EMS took Bison to a hospital in Shreveport, but he later succumbed to those injuries. There were no other individuals reportedly involved in the accident. No further information about the accident is available at this time.
