16-year-old Killed in Tractor-Trailer Accident at Landfill in Lee’s Summit, MO

Kansas City, MO — June 8, 2023, a 16-year-old was killed due to a tractor-trailer accident at 10:00 a.m. at the Lee's Summit Recovery Park.

According to initial details provided by the Lee's Summit Police Department, the incident occurred at the landfill which appears to be located at 2101 SE Hamblen Road.
