Demarcus Kenyun Hunt Killed in Car Accident in Shelby County, TX

Shelby County, TX — April 30, 2023, Demarcus Kenyun Hunt was fatally injured following a single-vehicle accident at 9:15 p.m. along Highway 7.

Authorities made public information which shows the crash happened in the area of Highway 7 and Farm-to-Market 2913.

According to preliminary statements, 32-year-old Demarcus Hunt was in a Nissan Murano that was going westbound along the highway. For reasons which cannot be confirmed at this time,k it appears the vehicle went off the roadway to the left. It careened some distance before then crashing into a line of trees.

Hunt sustained fatal injuries as a result of the crash. Current information does not show that anyone else was involved in the wreck. Authorities have not said what factors they're considering at this time, and it's unclear if they continue to look into the deadly wreck. Additional details about the accident are pending further investigations.
