One Injured in Single-Vehicle Accident on Highway 183 at Wingren in Irving, TX

Irving, TX — February 13, 2023, one person was injured due to a single-vehicle accident at around 2:18 along Highway 183.

Preliminary details about the incident provided by authorities indicate that the crash took place in the area of the Wingren Road and Highway 183 service road intersection.

Authorities reported that a 38-year-old Irving man was in a pickup that was going along the westbound service road at the time. For reasons not yet confirmed, the vehicle appeared to go to the left off the roadway. There, it crashed with a guardrail. This caused the vehicle to then burst into flames.

Rescue teams were able to transport the victim to a local hospital with injuries that were described as incapacitating. The victim's condition at this time is unclear. The cause of the crash also remain undetermined.
