Pedestrian Killed in Accident on Hopper Road in Harris County, TX

Harris County, TX — May 13, 2023, one person was fatally injured due to a pedestrian accident that happened at around 10:11 p.m. along Hopper Road.

Harris County officials said they were called to the North Houston area off the corner of Hopper Road and Foy Lane, between Aldine Westfield Road and Eastex Freeway.

Authorities said that a man, unidentified at this time, was walking in the area and attempting to cross Hopper Road. While doing so, it appears that a gray Ford F-150 in the westbound lane hit the man. A sedan then hit the pedestrian a second time.

Due to the collisions, the victim succumbed to fatal injuries. Police allege that both vehicles involved left the scene of the accident without rendering aid. Their statements described the gray Ford F-150 is an "older model." They did not describe the sedan except to say it appeared to be a dark color. No further information can be confirmed at this time.
