One Killed, One Injured in Car Accident on Highway 146 in Mont Belvieu, TX

Mont Beliveu, TX — May 23, 2023, one person was killed and one person was injured following a two-vehicle accident at around 5:50 p.m. along Highway 146.

According to preliminary information given by the Mont Belvieu Police Department, the incident occurred in the area of the Highway 146 and Grand Parkway intersection on the north side of town.

Details at this time do not specify exactly what led to the collision. The details say only that the collision involved a Saturn Ion and a Chevy pickup crashing with one another. As a result, both drivers involved were taken to area hospitals.

It appears the driver of the Saturn had to be flown to a hospital in Houston. Their injuries ultimately proved fatal. The Chevy driver had injuries said to be non-life-threatening. Authorities have yet to release additional details about the fatal incident.
