Tyler Rogers Injured in Truck Chain Accident near Stroud, OK

Stroud, OK — May 23, 2023, Tyler Rogers was seriously injured due to a truck accident involving a loose link of chain along Interstate 44.

Details in the news indicate that the crash happened as Tyler Rogers and his band, CLIFFDIVER, were on their way to Las Vegas for a music festival. Rogers was said to be behind the wheel of the band's van at the time. Somehow, authorities say that a chain broke on a truck nearby, causing the chain or a portion of it to fly through the van's windshield.

The chain struck Rogers in the neck and the head, causing potentially life-threatening injuries. Fortunately, Rogers was able to make it to a hospital where details at this time suggest he is going to recover from his injuries. Right now, however, there are few details about the truck involved and whether or not authorities have made contact with that vehicle or driver to inspect it. No further information is available at this time as those investigations continue.
