Jesse Noel Sullivan, 1 Injured in Truck Accident in Winkler County, TX

Winkler County, TX — May 6, 2023, Jesse Noel Sullivan and another driver were injured following a pickup truck accident at around 11:01 p.m. on Highway 302.

Officials said that the collision between the two vehicles happened in the area of Highway 302 mile marker 228, outside Kermit.

According to preliminary investigations from authorities, 19-year-old Jesse Noel Sullivan was in a Nissan Titan traveling westbound along the highway. A Ford F-250 was also going westbound, details say. Due to a series of events not currently clear, the Ford allegedly failed to control speed and crashed into Sullivan's Nissan.

As a result of the collision, Sullivan sustained injuries described as incapacitating. The other driver, not currently identified, had injuries described as non-incapacitating. No one else appeared to have been involved. There was an apparent recommendation for charging the Ford driver with failure to control speed. This and other details cannot currently be confirmed.
