Juan Macias Rangel Injured in Truck Accident in Dallas, TX

Dallas, TX — May 8, 2023, Juan Macias Rangel was injured due to a commercial truck accident at around 7:15 p.m. along Illinois Avenue.

Investigators released information saying that the incident happened at the intersection of Illinois Avenue and Keats Drive.

Initial details suggest that 34-year-old Juan Macias Rangel was the driver of a Honda Accord that was going northbound along Keats at the time. While crossing Illinois, police say that an eastbound tractor-trailer disregarded the light and crashed into Rangel's vehicle.

As a result of the 18-wheeler accident, Rangel had injuries which were described as incapacitating. No one else involved had any reported injuries. At this time, there is no stated reason why the semi-truck allegedly went through the light. Authorities did not publicly state if they planned to file any charges or citations. No further information can be confirmed at this time.
