Justin Rodriguez Killed in Single-Vehicle Accident in Shackelford County, TX

Shackelford County, TX — April 20, 2023, Justin Rodriguez was killed following a single-vehicle accident at around 8:46 p.m. along Highway 6.

According to preliminary details released by authorities, the crash took place in the area of the Highway 6 and F.M. 601 intersection.

It appears from current statements that 36-year-old Justin Rodriguez was the driver of a Ford F-350 that was going northbound along the highway. While rounding a curve, for reasons currently unclear, the truck drifted off the side of the road. It then veered back in the opposite direction, traveled off-road, then overturned.

As a result of the crash, Rodriguez succumbed to injuries which ultimately proved fatal. There is no information at this time to suggest that there was anyone else involved in the wreck. There also is not enough information to confirm what exactly led to the deadly wreck. Investigations are ongoing.
