Initial details about the crash indicate that a man in his 40s was in a vehicle that was traveling along the roadway. Due to a series of events not entirely clear, it appears another vehicle crashed into the back of the man's vehicle. That second vehicle then apparently left the scene of the accident. The man in the first vehicle was taken to a hospital with injuries that reports did not describe as serious.

Right now, there is no available description for the runaway vehicle, and authorities make no mention of suspects or arrests. Additional details are pending continued investigations.
