Two Injured in USPS Truck Accident on Taylor Road in Riverdale, GA

Riverdale, GA — May 23, 2023, two people were injured as the result of a USPS truck accident at around 11:00 a.m. along Taylor Road.

According to preliminary details from authorities, the incident happened as a USPS truck was traveling along Taylor Road.

Somehow, the postal truck began "swerving," then over-corrected and went into the path of an oncoming SUV. As a result, the postal truck and the SUV collided head-on. This then caused the USPS truck to catch on fire.

Two people apparently were taken to the hospital, one of which was the USPS employee. The other victim was a woman from the SUV who was reportedly responsive some time following the crash. Right now, their conditions have not been stated publicly. The cause of the crash is also still under investigation.
