Pedestrian Killed in Truck Accident on Cecil B. Moore Avenue in North Philadelphia, PA

North Philadelphia, PA — May 18, 2023, a pedestrian was killed in a collision with a semi-truck around 9 a.m. at Broad St. and Cecil B. Moore Avenue in North Philadelphia.

According to authorities, the pedestrian had just exited a SEPTA bus that was allegedly stopped at a tired light to the right of a semi-truck when the light then purportedly turned green and she was struck by the semi-truck.

The pedestrian was taken to Temple University Hospital but later succumbed to her injuries.
