Dana Foster Killed in Ambulance-Truck Accident on Hwy. 21 in Talladega County, AL

Talladega County, AL — May 16, 2023, Dana Foster was being transported by an ambulance when killed in a truck accident on Hwy. 21 in Talladega County.

Authorities report an ambulance in the process of transporting Ms. Foster when it collided head-on with a semi-truck. The initial collision then allegedly cause the ambulance to collide with a Nissan Pathfinder and a Honda CRV.

Dana Foster was pronounced dead at the accident scene, however, it is unclear if she passed due to injuries sustained in the accident.

Officials report the drivers of the Nissan and the Honda as well as the driver of the ambulance and two paramedics were taken to a hospital with injuries. Authorities have not released the severity of their injuries.

Investigators have not released what factors led up to the accident.
