One Killed in Single-Vehicle Truck Accident in Johnson County, IN

Johnson County, IN — May 17, 2023, a truck driver was killed in a fiery truck accident around 5:14 p.m. on County Road 800 in Johnson County.

Sources report the box truck was on C.R. 800 just outside of Edinburgh, IN at the Shelby County line when the truck somehow veered off the road, entered a roadside ditch, struck several trees, and then caught fire.

The truck driver was fatally injured in the collision.

Reports indicate authorities have not determined the cause of the crash.
